How to ALWAYS Succeed!
You might think it’s impossible if I told you I know how to always succeed!
The Secret Lies in Your INTENTION
‘If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favourable.’
~ Seneca
You might be feeling a little stuck in your life. You don’t know which direction to take. Or life is overwhelming with work/family/survival.
Whatever is going on maybe you want to start a meditation practice.
Lots of students wish this when they begin a Mindfulness & Meditation Course. The key to always succeed is to set your intention very clearly.
Choose a simple, tiny practice. Be very specific.
Decide when and where it will take place. Something like this:
Be clear. Keep it do-able.
Don’t miss more than two days in a row.
It will then become a new habit.
Always Succeed When You Say This to Yourself
Remember that whenever you decide to leave your house, you pretty much always know where you are headed. You don’t just leave!
So in order to always succeed in WHATEVER you’re doing, your mind has to create the success first.
It’s not just for a daily habit like meditation or exercise or healthy eating.
This is the best intention you could set for yourself every day of your life:
‘My intention for today is to live into each moment as it unfolds, with calm and joy.’
What This Means
This means that whatever challenges occur you stay open towards them. You remain calm. Experiences might be unexpected or even scary.
Your career goals might swerve and take you elsewhere. Yet whatever occurs, big and small, live with this intention.
Be present in each moment as it happens, and you will always succeed. Because you are living in each moment with calm, kindness and good humour.
Learn This Phrase or Create Your Own
‘My intention for today is to live into each moment as it unfolds, with calm and joy.’
You never need to be hard on yourself. Be kind when you forget and lose your temper or let anxiety overwhelm you.
Remind yourself ‘I’m simply living into this moment. I just forgot for a second. That’s OK.’
Now you know you can always succeed.
It’s your definition of success. It’s your mindful life!
