What is the Human Energy Field?

The Human Energy Field has been described and referred to throughout the existence of mankind, eg. References can be found in Hindu texts, Tibetan and Indian Buddhists, Japanese Zen Buddhists and Native American medicine people. The recent work of Barbara Ann Brennan has clarified and informed our understanding of this.

Each of us carries our own H.E.F. consisting of 7 layers or auric levels which expand outwards from our bodies. They are the vibrations that our body emits out - subtle energy levels where we carry all the information, exchanges and experiences that have occurred in this life, and our past lives. We are constantly updating this information via our Chakras, which are our means of exchanging energy with the Universal Energy Field all around us. Each Chakra is responsible for a specific auric level by allowing the healthy flow of energy into and out of our Human Energy Field.

What are Chakras?

Chakras are swirling vortexes, like sieves, which are our means of exchanging information from the world around us, and back out again. Throughout our childhoods and on into adulthood, we take on board information on a subtle energy level, and carry our interpretations with us. So in effect, we see the world in our own unique way, and our Chakras contribute to that unique view.

1st Chakra located at our Root - is responsible for nourishing the Etheric Body which surrounds our physical body. It relates to our ability to survive. A healthy Root Chakra is essential for our good grounding and sense of belonging. From birth to the age of 3-5 years it is crucial for a child to be cared for, fed, given drink, shelter, security and stability. Without these various aspects of nourishment, damage is done at this first Chakra and much healing work can take place by revisiting and/or learning more about a person's earliest years of life. The Root Chakra feeds energy into our Etheric Body, the first of the auric levels in our Energy Field.

2nd Chakra located at our Sacral - allows us to experience our feelings, including our sexuality and the balance of our masculine/feminine sides. The Sacral Chakra metabolizes energy into the Emotional Body, responsible for our expression of love, nurturing and building of relationships. Between the ages of 3-5 and 8 years our experiences at home and at school influence our ability to express our feelings and connect with our ability to communicate our needs. Much energy healing happens here when we learn to express our true feelings in a safe environment.

3rd Chakra located at our Solar Plexus - feeds into our Mental Body. This is a very structured matrix holding all our thought forms in a rational and intellectual way, as well as carrying our belief patterns. A healthy Chakra here means we can shine in our own unique power. Healing of our ingrained belief patterns happens here and can really be the level at which we become aware of our true potential and power in this lifetime. As Marianne Williamson says, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world ...'

4th Chakra located at our Heart - feeds the Astral Level on which we carry a whole host of accumulated stories and memories from our lifetime and our past lives. Every interaction we have with others is an exchange of energy and it is at this level that Relationship Cord Healing and Past Life Regression Healing takes place. A healthy Heart Chakra means love, compassion, empathy, acceptance, peace and respect.

5th Chakra located at our Throat - connects to the Etheric Template which holds the perfect template of who we are. Healthy vibrations here are essential for our ability to express ourselves. It allows us to be in our own truth and integrity, and where we can truly express ourselves creatively. This is where Psychic Surgery Healing and Sound Healing takes place. It is the level of Sacred Geometry which is found universally throughout Nature.

6th Chakra located at our Brow - is associated with the Celestial Body where we can develop our intuition, clairvoyance and connection with the Divine. When this Chakra is healthy, we can bring vision and insight into our daily lives, and can be truly inspired. Angelic Healing occurs at this level .

7th Chakra located at our Crown - this links to our golden matrix known as the Causal Body. This is where we feel our connection with Source - life itself, without demand or question. We develop our Crown Chakra through meditation and opening to Universal Love and Unity.

By using knowledge of the Chakras, Energy Healing allows us to identify and focus on specific areas in your life, almost like mapping out your experiences and how you have dealt with them. With awareness of this, you are then in a better position to accept where you are, leading to an increased sense of peace, harmony and happiness.
