Using natural essential oils and the 7 healing chakras for inspiration, the beautiful fragrances are healing and enjoyable, as well as environmentally friendly.
Candle Cavern, the candle workshop based in Petersfield, is run by candle-making expert David Spandley. 'I make candles from natural products to allow people the opportunity to buy from a renewable source and for those seeking both quality performance and environmental sustainability. Where scents are used these are created using pure essential oils. There are many people who raise concern over the implications of burning paraffin candles which are made from paraffin wax, a heavy hydrocarbon that comes from crude oil. At Candle Cavern I believe you can enjoy the benefits of natural light and scents without possible adverse implications on personal health or the environment.'
Soy wax is a new and innovative candle wax made from 100% soybeans. These are a renewable and sustainable resource and are completely natural and biodegradable. Soy wax is non toxic and non carcinogenic. Essential Oils are used which are highly concentrated natural extracts from plants, leaves, flowers, roots, buds, twigs, resin and/or fruits.

The soya wax used for our tealights and candles is called Ecosoya. This soya is bought from a sustainable source which is integrated with the US farming industry ie. using agricultural land already in place to produce the beans. There is also a non GM, pesticide or herbicide ethos in the production.
