Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve |

I have just spent most of today bathing in the sound of birdsong! I visited Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve, run by the RSPB. It's the most amazing place, and it felt like springtime was switched full on! I am not knowledgeable about birds, but I identified several including a family of Shoveller ducks, Lapwings (swooping and dipping across the marshes), a Heron, Moorhens, Swans, a Jay and a Goldfinch. Most evocative of all, I heard Cuckoos and Nightingales. I also relished the wonderful springtime smell. How amazing and uplifting is nature! Feeling down? Get out there if you can!
