When you visit Place of Serenity you are welcome to explore our grass labyrinth. It is still in its early days! We are just experimenting with it but the ideas behind it are as follows.
Labyrinths have been around for a very long time throughout the world. They typically consist of 7 or 11 concentric circles which contain a winding path to the centre. As you step into the labyrinth you slowly follow the route to the centre while meditating, praying, breathing consciously or walking with mindfulness.
'Although we walk all the time, our walking is usually more like running. When we walk like that, we print anxiety and sorrow on the Earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the Earth.'
